A - DATA
- Storage of all articles on spread-sheet program by internal references
- Storage of packages and their dimensions on spread-sheet program,
- Storage of the correspondences between articles and packages.
- Storage of the different pallets used.
B - EXECUTION
The pallet loading pattern is entered as follows:
a - Direct data input.
b - Direct connection to the order scheduler.
c - Repetition of the palietizing parameters.
Input of the palletizing parameters.
These parameters are entered into the program by notes given to the height,
volume, loading space requirement etc.,. They can be modulated as desired.
Four different combinations can be stored. The requested parameters
can be entered into the program by simply entering the one-digit code
of one of the four stored combinations.
C - DISPLAY
The pallet is immediately loaded as soon
as the program is initiated.
The results can be displayed as follows:
1- Display of the package positions, for each package:
- three-dimensional display of its coordinates.
- display of its supporting surface.
-display of the achieved rototation.
2- Three-dimensional general view of the pallet from different angles.
3- Display of the pallet being loaded, package by package, each package
can be identified individually.
D - AUTOMATIC PALLETIZING
1°) Determination of the palletizing sequence:
The software calculates the palletizing sequence necessary for the pallet
loading operation, considering the environmental conditions for the robot
movements and the progress of the palletized load.
2°) Hardware for schedu1ing system:
If an automatic warehouse is provided, the packages are fetched by the
software itself according to the aforementioned sequence.
In case of a manually operated warehouse, it is possible to use the available
marshelling units or to provide for the necessary infrastructure equipment.
In this case, marshelling operations are managed by the software.
3°) Identification of the incoming articles:
The software includes a scanner for the identification of the incoming
articles prior to their rotation to the requested side.
4°) Article feeding system
The packages are fed to the robot on the requested side by means of a
bi-axial swivel, managed by the software.
5°) Robot cycles:
The different robot cycles and safety systems are managed by the software.
All parameters concerning speed control , acceleration-, braking- and
space requirement curves are programmable by direct display in the corresponding
windows. The compatibility of the whole system is secured by windows,
operable from the main menu.
A - SOFTWARE
The software used for the computer - aided heterogeneous palettization
can be used alone. A large scope of applications can be found, for example,
it can be used for package scheduling, aid to manual palletizing operation
or volume optimizing tests.
The time saving at package scheduling operation is considerable.
With the software, the operation is performed in a few seconds.
Two marketing facilities are provided: sale or rent.
B - PALLETIZING ROBOT FOR ARTICLES OF DIFFERENT CONFIGURATIONS
A fully automatic palletizing operation is possible with the robot.
It is sold 'in a full capacity design with the complete software and can
assume all aforementioned operations. Originally, the robot is equipped
with PCs of the newest generation.
